Meet our new new Year 7 pupils, who joined us at the start of term. Year 7 have had a very busy and exciting start to the term. They are seen here, along with Head of Year Mr Joseph (centre), in front of the historic Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens, where they enjoyed an outdoor lunch and some late summer sunshine. Earlier in the day Year 7, along with other year groups attended a very special ELSS Whole School Lecture delivered by two cutting edge scientists at the Royal Geographical Society. More on that to follow.
On the very first week of term, Head of History, Mr Martin organised a fascinating visit to one of the most important sites in British history, the Tower of London. Closer to home (see below), Vice Principal Mr Cornish took his Year 7 Geography class onto Three Mills Green to teach them map reading skills.
We would like extend a warm welcome to pupils and we are certain they will go on to make a very positive impact and contribution to school life at ELSS. Watch this space for more of what Year 7 get up to over the coming year.
