International corporate giant, Morgan Stanley, has signed up to work with the computer science department and will be giving additional support to pupils by getting them to consider real life technology problems. The company, which employees over 57,000 people worldwide including several thousand at Canary Wharf, wants to encourage pupils to consider careers in IT and the financial sector. Morgan Stanley has a very well respected graduate training programme and takes on apprentices following A-levels.

Morgan Stanley is the latest company to sign up to work with the school coming hot on the heels of a partnership with Eurostar announced 2 weeks ago.

This adds to the growing list of opportunities that year 10 pupils can apply to participate in as part of the careers curriculum. Work Experience placements at Sainsbury’s Online Fulfilment Centre, Murphy’s Construction, Workspace, M&G Investments, Imran Opticians and Transport for London.
