Justine Brian is director of Civitas Schools, providing charitably funded supplementary schooling to children who will benefit from extra educational support but would not otherwise be able to access it. She was formerly director of the Academy of Ideas Debating Matters sixth form debating competition.
She believes in the power of education and grappling with big ideas – and practiced what she preaches by completing a degree in Classical Studies at Birkbeck College, University of London, as a mature student. She loves good food and learnt to cook at Westminster College. She is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
